Get Your Sunken Samba T-Shirt!
UPDATE 7/25/16 – We’ve extended the ordering deadline to tonight!
FROM 7/19/16 – We’ve sold quite a few t-shirts this past year, but we haven’t been very consistent in coming up with new designs. We are going to try harder though and plan on releasing a new design every week. It’s not going to be easy, but hopefully, we will get some ideas from you guys. This particular design was inspired by a story we ran about how someone rescued a 1957 Volkswagen 23-window bus that had been submerged in water for decades. It was quite a tale and now you can get the shirt that commemorates their achievement. Hurry though because we are only accepting orders through Friday!
See the similarity? The story of this bus was amazing and it deserves this shirt!
These will be screen printed on a high quality 100% cotton shirt. Prices start at $17 plus shipping. Use the form below to order yours!

How about a follow up story on the sunken samba? What’s the word on its restoration?

Hi
Long time, no action Very Happy
I still own the car, and my plans have not changed, the car will be restored, but things take time. I have to finisch a 62 bug for my sister first, and with 4 kids in the most active age, the samba has a low priority at the moment.
First step of restauration will be to get it leagally running with licence plates, with as little body repair as possible to keep as much of the “patina” as it is. After some years of “loosing the rest of the interesting patina”, it will be fully restored to its prior glory.
As soon as I start with the car, I will start posting pictures. But, unfortunately, I expect it to still be a year or two.
