Swivel Seats: 18k Mile 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass 455
Usually the Barn Finds that we locate are projects that have experienced some level of neglect over the years. That is not the case with this 18,600 mile 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass. This car looks immaculate in the pictures and very close to showroom condition. The Cutlass is located in Escondido, California and is listed here on eBay with less than a day in the auction. The original cranberry paint and landau vinyl top make the car stand out in any ground. This car is currently bid to $20,500.
One of the highlights of this car is the swivel front bucket seats. The Cutlass is equipped with power brakes, power steering, tilt steering, gauge package, Olds Rally wheels, automatic transmission and anti spin rear end. The maroon interior matches the exterior pain and looks original down to the floor mats. I have a 1977 Gran Prix that is original but it does not compare to the originality of this car.
This Olds Cutlass is equipped with the optional 455 cubic inch V8 engine. The engine compartment is super clean but the car does not have air conditioning which is a must for some parts of the US. The seller has replaced the valve cover gaskets, one of the exhaust manifolds, oil pan and timing cover. Other recent service includes a new water pump, fuel pump, belts, rear main seal, intake manifold and carburetor. With such low miles, one might assume that the gaskets were dried out from sitting for so long.
The Cutlass is riding on its factory rally wheels. The seller has clean title and this car looks like you can fly in and drive it home. With such little time left in the auction, you may have to rely on the pictures in order to decide to make a bid. The undercarriage of the car looks like it has been painted but appears clean enough.

My first car at age 16 was a 75 Cutlass Supreme. It was green interior and green exterior with the 350 engine…wish I would have kept it, traded for an 84 Cutlass with t-tops!!
Did they leak? Seems like many of them did.
My 76 T top Cutlass Brougham leaked with every hard right hand turn. Worth every aggravation though. Wish I still had it
Bob C I had a 78 Monte Carlo with t tops from 82-86 that never leaked and did not rattle not a fast car but man was it a smooth cruiser black with red interior
This baby is Sweet, and mighty clean!! Ends today.
My first car was a 1975 powder Blue with white half vinyl top and white interior, 350 4bbl carb I drove it to Scholes my last year of high school.
I can’t believe Californians were allowed to buy big block V-8’s in 1975.
The Olds was originally sold in Canada.
So that’s why it doesn’t have A/C.
1975 introduction of catalytic converters gave it a reprieve.
This car was sold new in Oshawa, Ontario Canada and at some point brought to California.
Me and my bride bought a 75 olds red with white interior swivel seats half white vinyl and a tornado took her from me and always looking for another one
Sold $25,300.
A guy I worked with has a absolutely cherry Buick version of this car (Regal?) Green body, white top and interior. Approx 20,000 miles with a 350 engine. Proverbial little old lady drove it to church car. He pulled the motor and trans and put a very hot Buick 455 and built up tranny back in it. It runs extremely well and it is weird standing there listening to a Buick with a huge cam lope on Racing fuel
Boy this one is a flashback. A friend of my dads had one in same color but with full white vinyl top. Cant remember if it was 75 or 76 supreme. Had the 350 rocket, turbo 350, posi and air. Moved pretty good for a seemingly bigger car. It was white vinyl bench interior and matching cranberry crushed inserts. Shifter on column.
Gorgeous Olds. With the 2.56 ⚙️ this would be a hwy King. Love it. Well bought for around 25k
Best use of $25,000 in my book. And what Steve said about the t tops leaking on a right turn. I bought a 1976 Cutlass Salon with almost every option. It was silver with the burgundy high back buckets. I have owned 50 cars in my 66 years. I miss it more than any of them and I currently have a 50 year old Corvette, which I would trade in a heartbeat to get that Olds back. Comfort, quality and yes with that 2.56 axle, decent fuel mileage.
Nice Buick emblems on the fenders, lol.
