19k Original Miles: 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV
It seems like there are still quite a few decades-old Lincoln cars in the marketplace that are either low-mileage examples or in exceptionally well-preserved condition, and sometimes a combination of the two, that is if a potential buyer is fortunate enough to run across one. This 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV would easily qualify as both, as not only does it remain in very nice shape, but it’s only been driven a total of 19,153 miles in nearly 50 years. If you’ve been looking for a survivor-type mid-seventies luxury coupe, this one’s definitely worthy of consideration.
The story goes that the seller acquired the Lincoln about a year and a half ago, just one month after the previous owner passed away at the age of 95. Bronze Gold Diamond Fire was a stunning color for Lincolns back in ’75, and all of the paint is stated as original here, although three scratches are said to have been touched up by hand. The vinyl Landau roof is claimed to be in like-new condition, with all the chrome trim and bumpers also appearing to be in fine condition.
Moving inside, things appear just as good in here as they do outside, with those leather seats still looking about as inviting as they did back when this Lincoln was new. The Mark IV came well-equipped, but several options can be found here, such as a reclining passenger seat, rear window defogger, and an AM/FM Stereo with an 8-Track player. More notably, this one’s also got the Gold Luxury Group package, which set buyers back an additional $516, making this a period-expensive and somewhat rare option, as the seller says the Marti report states that only 2,914 were equipped with this opulent combo feature.
The 460 engine was standard under the hood here, which is said to start right up and run smoothly. The seller mentions that he’s driven this one 2,000 miles since it’s been under his care, with some minor repairs made and a few parts replaced, and now everything is claimed to be functioning properly. This 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV seems ready for the next owner to enjoy, so if you’re ready to get behind the wheel this beauty is located in Mantoloking, New Jersey, and can be found here on eBay. The current bid of $11,300 isn’t enough yet for a sale, as the reserve has not been reached. How much is a reasonable price to pay for this one?

460, gold ✨️ pkg. 😎 wow.
What a gorgeous car! I wish I could buy it.
You could have the above Grand Prix or this. No contest. This is rolling deep. Hubba hubba.
No sale. $14,100….the bid goes on.
You will never find a more comfortable, better riding car anywhere, I owned a 75, there was a commercial back in the 70s of a diamond cutter cutting a diamond in the back of a moving 4 door Continental, they weren’t kidding, gas mileage was atrocious, but pride of ownership, especially now as you sit at a red light next to a Prius and emit fumes enough to make it turn brown
This is one gorgeous Lincoln. Beautiful color combination. Cannon would be very pleased.
Oh Frank is there a mobile phone in there
