V8 Coupe: 1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet
After a lifetime in Arizona, this V8 Valiant coupe is a sweet unrestored classic that looks like plenty of fun to drive. With many rebuilt systems, and equipped with factory air conditioning, you could cruise comfortably in this small American two door. With a few days remaining in the auction, the bidding has risen to $1,525.00. Check it out here on eBay out of Glendale, Arizona.
What more could you ask for other than a 273 V8 and factory air conditioning? Although equipped and charged, the air conditioning system is apparently not yet completely functional. Perhaps the cabin fan is not operational? The brake system, fuel system, and much of the front end has been rebuilt on this small V8 classic. Described as a good runner, this could be a great project driver to improve and enjoy all at once.
Golden but not perfect, the interior needs some help as the Arizona sun has taken its toll. New carpeting has been installed, but the seat upholstery, and the dash pad could use some help. Granted those mentioned details could stand to be done, but this car is going to drive the same either way. I do think that if you made the effort to fix the interior that the car would have a great appearance.
Appearing to be wearing original paint, it is clear that the Arizona sun has had a field day with the paint. Featuring a matte finish with some surface rust, this Valiant could be enjoyed as is, or cleaned up and painted to make a grand little classic. I do not see any evidence of rot, but the rear window seal is a bit dry rotted looking to be a potential leak concern. Ready to drive where ever you please, would you make room for this small V8 classic?

Ended? I’d say the buyer got a sweet deal.
Totally a sweet deal.
Love it. And it went fast.
Check the spare tire well for rust.
My 63 Signet lived all it’s life in AZ before I got it and the trunk floor and well were like lace.
Seller should have rolled the windows down before photographing it.
A hardtop looks it’s best that way, but it didn’t seem to take much time for someone to scoop it up.
Nest car
Someone got a deal.
These are very fast with the 273
Did not meet reserve.
Why are there always so many different interpretations of EBay auctions?
I would think that “This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.” can only mean one thing: the car sold outside of EBay.
No one can know if the buyer got a good deal, it didn’t get a chance to meet reserve, etc.
That’s not a signer steering wheel ,it’s a base model one ,no horn ring
