There are thousands for sale, all it takes is money. In my considerable experiance, these type ads are either from dealers trying to buy cheep for resale or people too cheep to pay what it is worth.
That is true, but it’s also the reason these guys keep finding cars. They work at it. There are more than a few people that don’t want to publicly advertise a car for sale. Even an offer on the low side of fair will make them happy as long as the transaction is hassle free.

Very well said!!!
Isn’t this the same Dennis Collins from Fast ‘n Loud? If so, I think Dave Wright is most probably correct.
if so, he is a flipper…give him credit for using his real name, lol these guys don’t care about the cars, it’s funny that the owners will sell to gas monkey saying well it’s going to a good home, & they flip it right off, so????????, anybody watching the show knows this and that he will never offer to pay a good price, see mustang last week, of course, it’s tv, could be fake too, I think RR gets $50,000 per episode, so he may not even sell those builds….ever notice most the cars/trucks they build are still right there in background? lol
I used to be successful with these kind of ads in my marine salvage business but it was a very different thing, I was giving people money for derelict boats and equipment that other people wanted to charge to make them go away. We would do an honest inventory of the saleable parts and cost of demo, add some profit and make an appropriate offer. Sometimes we would take the boat for free because the numbers told us that we couldn’t afford to pay anything for it but other companies wanted to charge thousands to demo it without giving any credit for the useable parts and equipment. With the current market for interesting cars, these people are just looking to steal money from people that don’t know any better.
