Barn Finds reader David K is looking for a 1965 Pontiac Tempest/Lemans Station Wagon and needs our help! A quick search of craigslist and eBay didn’t reveal anything so this one may take some serious digging!
Im looking for the same vehicle 65 pontiac tempest wagon… have you had any luck?
I’ve been looking a long time . I have almost hands on one. Hope to pick up end of April. There was a guy in California who had two .. I’ll see if I kept his info . It was early last year . The guy with one that motor was yanked had info on one also. He was in OK.
are you looking for a project to build or one already done? I have a 65 wagon that needs to be built.

Both of these are sold , NY last summer, just spoke with him . The one in mich talked with him last fall I believe and he had taken a deposit. But I did e mail again just in case deal fell through. But thanks for looking 😂
I got one near Dallas Texas. Need some work it was running before I bought it but the guy yank the motor out cuz he was going to part it before I found it
So he just set the motor back in there and didn’t hook anything up

Wagon group ? A club for wagon people! Like it . I blew up pic what’s up with windshield? Glass and chrome are most important beside not a Swiss cheese remake, ha ha . I’ll have to wait till my wife gets back and use her Facebook page .
I towed from California to Texas the windshield is just set in there. That’s why the duct tape. I can send you a text right now unless you prefer a phone call I know it’s kind of late but

David, please check out the Los Angeles Craigslist. You will find a 1965 Lemans wagon for sale. The car has a GTO front clip. The owner reduced the price to $6850. Sorry but my phone won’t allow me to copy the URL. Happy hunting!

I had a guy a while back from up North that was interested in my 64 LeMans. He contacted a local appraiser in my area I think it cost him like $300 but the guy spent like two and a half hours going over my car with a fine-tooth comb. Sent him tons of pictures and a full detailed report of what the car was actually worth. That might be something you want to do since you can’t be there to actually look at the car in person

The guy that came out and looked at my LeMans dealt in old cars classic Street Rods Etc. he was very thorough. We had it up on the lift. he checked all kinds of things that I wouldn’t even thought he would look at.
I can vouch for the guy that is selling the wagon. He’s a good dude and pretty honest. I was amazed at some of the stuff he has tucked away in his garage. You wouldn’t know it from the street. I sent my dad out there to look at my wagon before I bought it since he lives not too far from the guy.

Yes, I am looking for one with a decent body that I can build with my son. My first car was a 67 got so I was wanting a wagon to restore to take the family on vacations. If it runs it would be ok too.
