Ready For Retribution: Monster Model T Truck
Yesterday, the doorbell rang. It was my neighbor and he was there to inform that he had just ran his truck right into the back of my Spitfire. My neighbor’s truck isn’t just any old pickup though. It has been jacked up into the stratosphere and actually looks pretty humorous sitting behind my little sports car. It sits so high, in fact, that the only damage caused by the incident was to my luggage rack. My neighbor claimed he forgot it was there and apparently he couldn’t even see it when he started to pull forward. I was surprised that he didn’t run it right over! That sort of put a damper on the day, but when I saw this monster Model T listed on eBay, I instantly came up with a plan for retribution…
Wouldn’t it be fun to park this out front and then “accidentally” bump into his truck? I could then knock on the door and inform him that I had just backed into his truck. “Sorry, I couldn’t see the poor little guy down there”, I would say. We could then go out to inspect the damage. Oh boy, I’d love to see the look on his face when he’s greeted by this beast! I’m still not sure why so many “city guys” insist on driving jacked up trucks, but I can think of a few good reasons and they don’t have anything to do with off-roading. Perhaps, my desire for this monstrosity is proof that I’m starting to think like them. Or maybe I’ve just been living the city too long. Either way, this looks like fun to me!

Herman Munster 4×4
Really? That’s all you got to say? That is one awesome 4X4
And by all appearances it looks like it was done right!
Fagetaboutit..
I could only think of the Beverly Hillbillies.
That thing is fantastic. Very well built, it’s different, it’s tough looking and proportionately correct. I dig the exhaust popping out of the bed in front of the dual radiators. You could easily make that a low speed rock crawler or a high revving mud dragster. Either way, it’s fun!
Excuse my language but that thing is Bad Ass !!! Better than the Mustangs / El Caminos on 4×4 chassis.
must have finished it and could not figure how to get in his garage!!
Tell you neighbor to spring a few bills for a backup camera ( you can get cheapies on EBay for under 100 clams), before he runs over something much more tragic, like a kid on a tricycle.
That’s the crazy part, he wasn’t backing up!
I’m surprised I don’t see more model T monster trucks.
Too bad they did not use the T style radiator shroud.
Did you shoot your neighbor?
I guess I’d call that a 1986 K5 Blazer 4×4, with a “Model T” shell.
This is fantastic
Just make extra fiberglass fenders,
Paint them to match, and your ready for rocks.
It should have 4 wheel steering and a shriner logo on the doors.
Can you imagine the Keystone Cops chasing this
That has to be one of the silliest automotive monstrosities I have ever seen!
