READER AD: 1952 Chevy 3600 3/4-Ton

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

We just featured Jim H’s 1950 Chevrolet 3800, which you can view here, and this is the other truck that needs to go. This 1952 Chevrolet 3600 was parked around the same time as the other and is going to need a complete restoration. Cosmetically, it looks a little better than the other truck, but it has spent its life working on the farm and has its fair share of bumps and bruises. Jim states that it is complete and could be a good restoration candidate. You can take a closer look at it via the link below!

What Makes It Special? This 1952 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup has been parked since 1980 after being retired from the farm in Minnesota. Prior modifications include a pusher front bumper. This truck is complete but restoration will require significant work. Any restoration should consider acquiring a 235 c.i. engine for additional power and reliability.

Body Condition: Body is complete although has had farm use with the usual nicks and bumps. Pusher bumper and rear bumper are obviously not stock.

Mechanical Condition: The engine compartment and running gear are complete, however, it’s not running.

My dream truck is an all original 1949 Chevy 3100, but this would work too. :)

I think the push bumper is worth the purchase price. Probably used it on the weekends at the local racetrack!! Love it!! Good luck to the new owner!!

    Cheers

What to do buy, look or ignore and move on. I want a old pickup, but I want one already restored. I just don’t have the inclination anymore to rebuild anything. So I’ll pass and let someone else enjoy this project.

Almost 40 years in the snow of North Dakota! Amazed there is anything left.

But.and it’s a big but…………not many like these two ( except maybe in Canada)……………that you can use as a base for restoration………..with lots of money of course.

I’m guessing Geomechs could have these two running in no time with a little help from Howard A :)

That homemade custom bumper was added to push broken down Fords into the ditch.😂
