Rust To Rust: 1963 Porsche 356
Editor’s Note – This Porsche sold offline before we were able to feature it. While we would typically not feature a find that has already sold like this, we thought the photo of this 356 in the barn was just too cool not to feature. Sorry to get any of your hopes up, but we hope you enjoy seeing this find all the same!
Listed here on eBay, and parked in Ravena, New York, this 356B is being offered without a reserve with one bid of $10K at the time of writing. This is the barn where a group of 356s were parked, oh what a day it must have been to discover this find! We don’t know when any of these cars were lasting running, but they’ve clearly been parked for quite a while.
This 356B is chassis #121895 in Light Ivory or paint code 6204. The engine #609884 is of unknown condition, but it’s nice to have all the serial numbers for research purposes.
The car has “serious” rust issues including the floors and much of the body.
There are many other images in the ad so you can take in all the rust if you wish.
The gauges and seats are in place, which is a nice plus.
The underside is very rough, but the seller makes it clear how rough this Porsche is. If you are interested, please review all the other images in the ad that are posted for this project. The owner says the good news is that this is much more complete than your average project and compared to David’s recent feature of the rusty remains of a 356 priced at $24,950, this one is gravy! It has a clear title and is ready for export.
Motor-on,
Robert

Yeah! I like looking at barnfind “porn” sold or not
That must be why I have to quickly switch to another window when the wife walks by.
Good one!
What is parked in the barn next to it?
One of Adam’s great finds. He’s fair thus moves a lot of product.
Sold, $18,000…according to eBay.
Yeah, a guy in Spain had to have this one, I think it was a European Delivery car, so we set up a buy it now for him.
And for the record, the remains of a cab listed the day before, I found that one too and sold it to the current seller, it was at a junkyard in FL.
