Time to Bid! Lucky Collector Car Auctions Spring Classic

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

The 2021 Spring Classic event managed by Lucky Collector Car Auctions will feature a wide range of classics of every shape and size imaginable, happening both online and in-person June 12 and 13, 2021. This year’s collection is bursting with classics that ride on land and on open water, so don’t ignore it if your four-wheeled needs are satisfied for the moment. The consignments include gorgeous examples of fine American and European classics, including this handsome 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III. Check out a few of my other favorites below, and the entire catalog here on the Lucky 2021 Spring Classic Auction website.

I don’t typically rave about kit cars, but I’d gladly give this one a home if time and space permitted. This is a rarely seen Ferrari 246GTS Dino tribute, based on (what else) a 1986  Pontiac Fiero. Now, the Fiero underpinnings notwithstanding, this is finally a kit car with a beautiful body that features proportions that compliment the car it’s based on. The Dino replica comes with a clean, stock interior; 2.8L V6; and Boyd-Coddington polished aluminum 5-spoke wheels. Find the listing here on the Lucky Collector Car Auctions website.

In addition to cars and boats, there are several motorcycles of both the modern and vintage classes to ogle. This is my personal favorite, as it looks to be a very clean example of the powerful Honda CB750 motorcycle. The listing claims it is unrestored, which makes the condition on display here even more impressive. This one will likely go for all the money if it’s as nice in person as it appears in photos, as unrestored 750s have a huge following. Find the listing here on the auction website.

If you’re looking for a truck project, you won’t be disappointed by this year’s collection. The one I’d try and take home is a project, but one can hope the Washington State license plates means it has good bones. It’s a rare four-door, flareside-bed 1987 Chevrolet Dually pickup, and while there’s evidence that the bodywork will need some attention and that a previous owner has been missing with the steering column, it’s still a decent starting point, especially if it goes cheaply. Find the listing for the Chevy pickup here on the auction website, and check out some of my other favorite finds in the gallery below.

That 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III is a beauty and loaded to the gills. I could be pretty happy with that.

2X on the Mark III. Best looking Lincoln IMHO and one that I would have fun owning and driving. I know you might think I’m crazy but rather than a “LS” swap I would do a Ford Powerstroke swap. Better fuel economy and gobs of torque to cruise in.

I say, fix the headliner and some other bits… and address that silly ride height 4 X 4 look, and DRIVE this one!
