This 1925 Ford Model T Speedster doesn’t feature its original body, but the body that it does feature is incredibly nice. This is a distinctive car with some very desirable features, and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed right away. the Model T is located in Phoenix, Arizona, and is listed for sale here on eBay. The owner has set the opening bid at $11,995 in a No Reserve auction, but there are currently no bids on this Ford classic.

Under that relatively new skin, this is all 1925 Ford Model T. The body itself was handmade in North Dakota back in 1993. The builders have done a great job, with the fit and finish looking very professional. The owner does point out that both the body and paint aren’t perfect, but have held up extremely well over the past 26-years. The car features some really nice touches, including the luggage rack on the passenger side running board, the wooden battery box on the driver’s side, and the red painted wire wheels. Without a doubt, my favorite feature is the polished brass monocle windshield, which just gives the car a great look.

The interior trim on the Ford looks very impressive. The red upholstery on the seats looks like it is close to perfect, while the red mats on the floors have also survived the last couple of decades really well. I really love that rear seat, and I’m having absolutely no trouble picturing my mother-in-law back there. After all, out of sight, out of mind.

The mighty old Ford flathead 4-cylinder engine in this Model T looks really clean, and in addition to the normal crank start, the car is fitted with an electric starter. The rest of the drive-train is your normal Model T fare, and the Ford is said to run and drive nicely. It is also nice that the owner noted that the brakes work really well. There are some pretty obvious non-original components under the hood, but it appears that this car has been tackled more like a tasteful refurbishment, rather than a faithful restoration, and this makes it an easier car to live with on a regular basis.

When I look at the listing for this Model T I am surprised by one aspect. It seems slightly unusual that at the time of writing there have been no bids on the vehicle. The opening bid seems to be very reasonable, and with the listing having No Reserve, it is entirely possible that a single bid could secure someone ownership of this great car.
