John Deere Tribute? 1957 Chevrolet 210
This 1957 Chevy 210 station wagon was someone’s pet project that came to halt for one reason or another. We’re told it’s been sitting for several years and doesn’t run, although it did when it was parked. The color choice speaks to a John Deere tractor, and we don’t know what all the stars are all about. But for those wanting to take the plunge on a Tri-Five Chevy, this 210 is available in Berkeley, California, and here on craigslist where the target price is $15,000.
If you wanted to buy a new Chevy wagon in 1957, you had your choice of the entry-level 150, mid-range 210, upper-level Bel Air, or the unique “sport wagon”, the Nomad. The seller’s 4-door hauler is a 210, but we don’t know if it was a Townsman (6-passenger) or Beauville (9-passenger). The former saw production of 129,000 units vs. the latter at nearly 24,000 copies.
The color choice of the Chevy is quite unusual and is something you’ll either love or hate. The additional graphics are not what you’d expect on a custom wagon, so we wish we knew where the owner was headed with this thing. The wagon has a V8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission, but we don’t know if it’s a 265, 283, or something else. There is a fair amount of bling going on, so it might not necessarily have stock innards. The seller only provides three photos and doesn’t want any “silly offers,” but you’ve got to provide more data and visuals to prevent that.

How many clowns would it hold, that’s an awful look. Maybe that’s why there are so few pictures, see the whole car and all it’s secrets are out.
If you don’t want silly offers, don’t offer a silly car.
A silly car does not want silly offers?
Thanks for the clarification.
Ok so post more than 3 lousy pics. If this guy is serious he needs to can the stupid and useless commentary and get down to business. SMFH. Why bother advertising but again it is craigslist.
Cheers

Seemed like a good idea at the time?
Get over the paint, it looks pretty clean from what pics there .
If you could stand the green you could just paint over the roof stars and rear quarter stars with white or some other contrast color. Myself, I’d go with a complete color change, wheels too of course..The engine compartment is black, so that at least saves you from painting in there.
Harbor freight tools abrasive blaster kit with gun and 5 bags will run about $300 with 5 bags of sand best I can do on the car is $5-8k because its going to take a lot of work to get it a driver and with no pictures of the inside who knows how much that is going to take. But since I’m guessing my $5,000 would be silly I’m not even going to try
Considering it’s location (Berkeley) the “neo hippie” look would fit right in!
Toooo much California sun
Whoever painted this was either an adult or at least in their late teens in the 60’s and had easy access to WAAAAY too much Acid. 😜

It’s Berkeley, remember Haight Ashbury and the Grateful Dead? Yah, this is the inspiration.
An era best forgotten. Started the whole disintegration of what has become.
If this guy doesn’t want silly offers put it on a used car lot. At least you could stop by and check it out. My opinion if he’s asking $15K he needs to get it to run at the very least. Either that or ask a more realistic price!!!
Wow what a disgrace some m o r o n would deface this old relic of automobile history. He should lose his clown license. lol
There might be some leftover drugs in the car from when the owner had it.
Remove those Goofy stars and The 2 tone Green Paint scheme Looks Great.
way overpriced, why give them free advertising?
