Holland Windmill Find
Derelict classics are being pulled out of barns and garages every day around the world. Although we mainly focus on North America based finds, we have followers from all over the globe and occasionally we like to feature something for them. This one is for our small group of readers located in the Netherlands. There are Opels, Fords, Rovers, and a Daimler all parked in this barn in Holland and they have supposedly been there for the last 15-20 years. There is probably something worth saving in there, but what we really want to know is if that barn has a windmill on top or not! The listing can be found here and, unless you know Dutch, you will have to translate it. Thanks goes to Niels K. for the tip!

If that eBay seller from yesterday with the ’50s Chevy and Olds convertibles was from outer space, this guy seems to have his feet squarely planted on the ground.
Thanks for the translation Dolphin. The prices seem realistic. That could be why a few have already sold while the cars from yesterday still don’t have a single bid.
Interesting stuff for sure.
De auto’s hebben tussen de 20 en 30 jaar in een schuur gestaan = 20-30 yrs in the barn (not 150. The 2 Kadetts will be sold together for 1250 €

Is “een schuur” a barn? (I ask because my grandfather’s last name was Schuurman. He was a barn man?)
Yes a schuur is a Barn ;)
I send in this find, as i was interrested if anyone would have more information on the A-kadett with the strange front and rear lights, why would someone do that or is it original?
Would have liked to have one of the Opel Rekords. I like them because they look mutch like late 50’s cheavys.
