Diverse Collection Of 34 Cars For Sale In Houma, Louisiana!
Barn Finds reader Chuck Foster recently spotted this diverse collection of cars for sale in Houma, Louisiana, and we’d like to thank him for keeping us in mind and sending us the tip on this multitude of great rides! The collection features no less than 34 of the seller’s cars, including many that are still in the same condition as when they were acquired along with others that have already been worked on. There’s a nice variety of vehicles here to choose from, which can be found here on Craigslist, so let’s check out a few of the offerings.
One of the first cars that caught my eye was this 1974 Pontiac Firebird Formula, and while there are no specific details mentioned about this or any of the other cars, if things look as good all the way around as they do from the front this may be a good candidate for consideration if you’re in the market for a seventies F-Body. The blue paint looks nearly immaculate, at least the part we can see, and if it’s running the asking price of $12,500 seems quite reasonable.
When the third-generation Oldsmobile Tornado was introduced in 1979, the car had shed a considerable amount of weight and length from the previous year’s model to the tune of 16 inches and a thousand pounds. I remember thinking when these came out that they sort of reminded me of an oversize Cutlass from the side view, although I’m not sure if that’s what the Olds design team had intended or not. The Toronado being offered for sale here appears to be of the Caliente trim variety, a package that included a fixed opera window pillar. It’s a 1985 model, the last one of the third-gens, and it actually looks pretty good for $2,250.
This 1995 Dodge Viper RT sure looks exciting, and based solely on the one photo we get seems like a decently preserved example, at least on the outside. The body appears to be well-preserved, or maybe it’s had some work done on it already, and even though the red paint has some dust on top it appears to still retain some shine underneath. The asking price on this one is $35,000.
Another interesting car is this 1914 Stutz Bearcat replica, which I’d love to find out more details about. That’s a pretty crazy round windshield, or a front piece of glass may be a more appropriate term, and it looks like there’s a Grant GT steering wheel on the column. Seems like a cool car for $13,500.
A 1954 Lincoln Capri can also be found, and a convertible at that, which is listed for $18,500, plus a whole lot more! Maybe my wife will buy me a hundred-thousand-dollar Craigslist gift certificate for our upcoming anniversary, and I can take a pleasure trip to Louisiana and go shopping. I doubt that gonna happen, so I’ll leave them for you guys to peruse and ponder. What are some of your favorite cars in this collection?
