Batmobile Barn Find? Unique Car Collection in Tennessee
Holy Car Collector! A unique collection is being created down in Franklin, Tennessee including a Dodge from the 1940s, 50s through 70s Fords and Chevys, three Toyota Land Cruisers, 1980’s Cadillacs, and for only $49,000, a Batmobile Body Kit! The listing for these cars, and more, can be found here on craigslist.
The collection has been accrued by the seller as local retirees have decided to either downsize their collections, move into senior living facilities or sell due to other related issues. As a result, the seller hints a few more cars might become available in the near future.
Some highlights include:
A collection of seven Chevrolet Corvettes. This version, a 1962 model, is available. It comes with a red interior, and both soft and hard tops, with an asking price of $65,000.
This Toyota Land Cruiser is one of three restored models being offered by the seller with prices ranging from $37,000 to $49,000.
If you are looking for a restoration project, the seller has this 1980 Cadillac Seville Grand Opera Sedan for sale, with a 1984 Seville parts car, with an asking price of $7,000.
Other available cars include:
- 1949 Packard Resto-mod on Cadillac donor chassis – $18,000
- 1964 Corvette Coupe, 4-speed – $69,000
- 1964 Ford Falcon Futura – $16,000
- 1965 Chevy Malibu SS Conv. – $59,000
- 1966 Corvette Coupe in Poly Blue – $69,000
- 1970 Pontiac Formula 400, 4-speed – $46,000
- 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe – $13,000
- 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in Autumn Firemist – $15,500
While not exactly barn finds in the truest sense, this sale is an unusual opportunity to obtain great, well-preserved, or restored cars from many eras. Hopefully, new homes for all can be found.

Wow what a collection, and variety. I guess all have been for sale since last year.
I’m thinking that if he is seriously trying to sell these cars, all prices need to drop by at least 25%.
And, perhaps a change of venue would be appropriate.
