Seller’s Description: Still have it and still for sale! This wagon project was started in 1995. It then sat in a body shop in California from 1996 until the Summer of 2020 when I acquired this car. My good friend that relocated to California in the early ’90s bought this car from its original owner in its original state. The project started by disassembly and a walnut blast to the rust-free body and primer to all the parts. The top chop of 2″ is in need of completion. All original glass, trim, and lighting are here and in excellent condition. The interior has been replaced with recovered bucket seats out of an older Thunderbird and a console fitted to receive the 429 big block and automatic transmission. The motor and transmission are both completely new with a 2500 stall speed. Frame and suspension blasted and back in black with all-around disc brakes and a new posi-trac 9″ rear end with 373 gears. Body has been completely undercoated and is now back on the completed chassis making it a roller. Front clip and doors reassembled for fit and room to show profiles. No edge painting except the gloss black in the engine compartment. Further along but still looking for someone to take her across the finish line. There was discussion of concern on the chop and the glass. The rear side glass sit on a shelf inside the quarter panel. Lowering the shelf 1″ gives adequate room for original glass to go in place. One side is 50% the other in place for a template. I still have everything but am located up in Hudsonville Michigan. I look forward to any inquiries and questions.
