Crazy Twin-Turbo V8-Powered 1993 Chevrolet S10!
If you’ve ever stumbled across the YouTube channels associated with the motorsports brand Hoonigan, chances are you’ve viewed “Bad Daddy Braddy” and his colorful personality. One of the channel’s segments is Build and Battle, where participants have a $9,000 budget, 15 days and a fairly limited tool selection to create a purpose-built vehicle. After the completion of that series, this 1993 Chevrolet S-10 that’s available here on eBay received additional modifications to accomplish a 9-second quarter-mile time. Unfortunately, engine issues have cut that goal short, but Hoonigan still hopes to raise money for charity via this auction.
This S10 is available in Long Beach, California with a clean title, but the advertisement states that it is “not street legal and is intended for off-road, race track use only.” All of the proceeds from this auction will benefit a charity called Warriors on Track, which provides veterans with housing, rehabilitation therapy, job training, and more.
The exterior of this S-10 is pretty standard for a track-oriented build, but I’m a big fan of the humorous stickers placed throughout the exterior.
Meanwhile, the interior is about a simple as you’d expect – there’s a single Kirkey racing seat, a roll cage, and some information displays, but that’s about it.
Under the hood, you’ll find an all-aluminum 5.3-liter V8 engine from a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban, which pairs to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with an upgraded torque converter and a Ford 8.8 rear differential. The engine features a long list of upgrades, but some of the most notable ones are two 98mm turbochargers, Holley’s Terminator X engine control management, upgraded injectors, a nitrous kit, and plenty more. Unfortunately, the engine has no compression in cylinder 5, but sourcing another 5.3-liter V8 and transferring the go-fast parts shouldn’t be too much of a challenge.
At the time of publication, bidding is at $41,100, and with 137 bids and 1,148 people watching the auction, it’s safe to say that plenty of people are showing interest in helping Hoonigan raise money for Warriors on Track. Would you join in on the bidding for this sweet S-10?

Neat truck, but it is not a 93. That would be the older gen I body style.
It’s an unfinished car with a dead engine. Turn key, competitive race cars can be vovught for significantly less that the current bid of $41,100. I’d be surprised if it’s a legitimate bid.
